Bella is 15 months old  We've just moved from Devon to Norfolk, and were so proud when her new vet said "She's perfect! And so beautiful! Bella's going to be spayed on Tuesday (she has a little hernia) and we're concerned about the collar she'll have to wear. We've bought a comfy collar, but

Despite a good washing in warm water and soap I can not get the stain of curry out of this boy

Pearly whites are now pearly yellow

Oh Monty, what are you like  :nono:

Hope the recovery for both of them goes really well, and they've done a really neat job on Jess's tail.  t1108.gig :love4:

Have you tried Baking soda on his teeth? just a bit mixed with some dog toothpaste , not human stuff, as I'm sure you'll know

I think I will leave him with his yellow war paint for now, his mouth is a little sensitive following the surgery and he is not best at letting me into his mouth - but thank you

Glad to hear they are both home safely and on the road to recovery  :love4: Jess's tail really looks good and it sounds like Monty's mouth is healing well  :023 Yellow mouth and teeth, don't think the Vet would be too chuffed Monty after all the hard work. Poppadoms too, well all curries go well with a side dish  :023

I think your curry stain is mainly tumeric which has antiseptic and healing properties, so think of it as long lasting medication!

Cheers

Not really jess;s news but the female cat goes in to be spayed tomorrow and the cats protection league have said for £10 each they will castrate the boys - then offer them up for rehoming. It is better if they are at home for castration then moved on.
Also on the job front I was successful at my interview at Clitheroe Police Station

Jess is now off painkillers and being a little delicate of tail - she can not seem to sit without catching it - I suppose this will take time.

Monty and his ears / teeth he is taking it easy  - in fact he is practicing taking it easy in preparation for more advanced taking it easy

Well, that sounds like quite a lot of good news Rachel.

Congratulations on your new job, Rachel.  I hope it goes really well and that you thoroughly enjoy it.  And, at least once, please say 'Evening All!'   :023

I hope Jess soon gets used to her new tail.  Harvey sometimes gets his caught too - a longer tail would bend, but a stubby one stubs.

I'm glad to hear that Monty is working so hard at taking it easy.  He looks to be very good at it, but I'm sure it takes more work, and at least while he's taking it easy he can't be getting into mischief, though I suppose he could be planning.   ;)
