Hi archie1306,
Just to clarify, it is asprin for a sprain - I know I said asprin in the last para but I should have made it clear at the beginning. So I've edited it.  Cheers.

Can anyone offer advice.
Our stunning boy Riley at 7 months old has started to eat poo.Not his own other dogs.At first ,although unpleasant,it wasn't much of a problem. This has now escalated and is upsetting the family as he has permanent diarrhoea.I know we could walk him on a lead but as we live

It was Billy's birthday on Thursday.  My baby boy is 25!
He and Harvey are very close and have a really special bond and as this is most likely the last of his birthdays that he can share with his dog, I decided a special gift was in order.

In my head a framed dog footprint seemed like a perfect gift - after all, so many things in this house have been printed with muddy paws over the years - and relatively easy to achieve.  Yeah, right!   Shocked

I did a trial run and discovered the paw in question was too hairy.  Cue some trimming.
I tried standing him on a painted lid but he refused to put his paw down, so I resorted to painting his tickly paw.
Harvey was not quite as engaged in the arts and crafts activity as I had hoped.  He is not the most cooperative dog at the best of times, but I got a couple of prints onto pretty paper and then wiped his paw clean with a baby wipe.  He seemed clean but still there were paw prints all over the kitchen floor.  I gave him a footbath and still more footprints so I took him outside.  I wiped the floor and normality was restored though I suspect there are some paint specks lurking, I'm just choosing not to look!   Wink

I'm quite pleased with the result and Billy loved it, though I don't think I'll be rushing to repeat the exercise.
