Baddog finished off a bit of ice cream she found in the freezer at the weekend, and has been obsessed with the bin this week.  :D

Bella is 15 months old  We've just moved from Devon to Norfolk, and were so proud when her new vet said "She's perfect! And so beautiful! Bella's going to be spayed on Tuesday (she has a little hernia) and we're concerned about the collar she'll have to wear. We've bought a comfy collar, but

Hi Chris,

I tried to find Hollie’s litter mates but didn’t have any success.  I was interested to see if any of them had spinal issues like Hollie.

If you are on Facebook there is a page called Spaniel Siblings, it tells you in the info how to post your dogs info so people can search right & also how to search the page for matches.

Good luck it would be great to be able to get in touch.
Fiona, Hollie & Kensi!

Never forgetting Fawn.

If your pup is KC Reg then you will be able to find names of litter mates on www. MyKC.org.uk.
If not KC Reg then your only contact is with the breeder you bought from.
I would suggest try again and say how pleased you are with the pup and interested in having another - that may give you a response and take it from there.
I keep in touch with as many owners as I can, others do differently.

Cheers,
Sgurr

They said they didn’t want any more pups as it was hard work. No Skye is not KC registered.

Funny you should say about some breeders wanting contact with their owners and others not.  Shortly after we got Finn the breeder came to visit us, with his mother and grandmother, and they had a good old play in the garden.  After that we contacted them to ask about getting photos of Finn's father and they have not replied.  We have tried a couple of times since, but no response.  Finn is KC registered, so I guess we could find out about his father that way.

I meant Finn's mother and grandmother!  Just realised my last post made it sound as if the breeder and his entire family were frolicking with our puppy!   :-[

I think the Facebook thing might help - as suggested earlier - I had a quick look at the page and you may be able to locate Skye's sister by locating her owners, especially as you have so much information about the litter.  Good luck.

sometimes meeting their relatives mightn't be great, Sam was a treasure of a dog, very measured temperament. The vet he attended had a receptionist, who owned Sams half sister, same mother, who Sam took after in appearance & temperament, different sire. I love springers, but this Lady was a terror, contrary, cross, snappy, only calm in company of her owner. She had a litter, 2 close friends bought dogs, both shared her traits, tho not as bad as their mum. Sam came from a litter of 14, he did meet a full brother, but they were almost 3 years at time, & didn't pay each other much heed. Harry has 3 brothers & 3 sisters, I haven't seen any of them. I have to travel for a procedure next week to Galway, likely Harry will come too...'moral support' if I have time I'll call by  his breeders on way home, but I'd be surprised if he recognised anyone there, The day I got him he locked himself to my leg, ignored his goodbye wishes from former owners, slept on my lap for 90 mile journey home, then ate & slept again, not so much as a whimper out of him, independent so & so even then
