Bella is 15 months old  We've just moved from Devon to Norfolk, and were so proud when her new vet said "She's perfect! And so beautiful! Bella's going to be spayed on Tuesday (she has a little hernia) and we're concerned about the collar she'll have to wear. We've bought a comfy collar, but

It sounds a wonderful, happy and interesting trip mad so much better after having the good news on Martin's health and may the results continue to be good.

What a great experience for Breagha and fantastic that she caught up with her family especially mum  :love4:

It's such a beautiful part of the world, you brought back some wonderful memories for me of our trip to the Western Isles and Hebrides last year  ;D A wonderful place to take Springers, so welcoming and dog friendly.

I Loved the duck pond and pheasants. Rosie loves both too, I dread seeing her disappear through hedgerows and hold my breath while waiting for the ensuing noise and mayhem of birds taking off. Thankfully your hosts saw the funny side.

Loved reading all your account, thank you for sharing it. Can't wait for the photos and the mysterious secret  ;D

Glad you all had such a great time and hope it's not too long before you can get back there and live it all again.

Thank you all very much for your reactions.  Indeed, our trip was just gorgeous, beyond words.  And luckily with no accident, mishap - well, except for 1 pheasant casualty, 1 (deceased) rabbit catch, 1 dead fish (or whatever) greedily eaten on the beautiful beach of Rye and soon afterwards duly vomited. All this goes to otherwise perfect travel companion Breagha's account.
To repeat ourselves, the absolute highlight on this simply wonderful trip was our visit to Breagha's cradle. Awww....

To Carrington: do not say anything like this unless you mean it - fleas or no fleas.

Glad you had a great time and of course it's completely understandable that it was last minute.

Rye is indeed beautiful, Charlie loved running in the sea there (though walking any distance on the shingle is utterly exhausting for me).

Happy Birthday LMB

:love4: Our Breagha is celebrating her 5th birthday today.   :love4:
She has given us so much joy since we expatriated her at the tender age of 10 weeks. We think with gratitude of Enid who let us have this Skye Jewel.
Birthday dinner: Fresh Scottish Salmon (wild)
Birthday present: some old (or new) socks to shred as she cannot handle any kind of toys.
Happy Birthday to our Jewel Breagha and to her brother and her sisters  :love4: :love4:
