Happy belated birthday wonderful Breagha  :love4: that salmon looks delicious! You have the same little quirks as Bessie... it is uncanny! Until you are allowed your treat... Bessie would not savour it as you do ;) we hope you had a lovely birthday and made sure those socks were shredded well (next year ask for J clothes - bessieís Reccomendation).

Lots of love from a rainy Hebrides,

Bessie and Arthur xxxx

From LMB:  Thank you all for your birthday wishes.   :love4: I love your comments.

To Bessie and Arthur:  you do keep my people confused. Some months ago they read that you enjoy lying in front of the Aga and despite intensive research, they only came up with "Australian Gas Association" as an explanation until informed by you what a comfy / posh stove an Aga is. -  And now this:  J clothes !  ???    Bessie, really, what are J clothes ?
Big Sister Breagha  ???

It is a type of kitchen cloth. Here is a video to help your springer shredder education....

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q4Z1_cBb4ac

It genuinely is the only thing she shreds  :01 I usually take it off her ofc but she'd already started shredding it so I thought I might as well let her finish and bin it after  ::)

Aw, thank you for the prompt information (guess my people are now trying to find out why these towels are called J and not G, C, S or Z - would also sound great  :023)  Bessie, you are producing exactly the same sound which pleases me so much, the louder the better.
Is that Arthur's nose and obviously eyes watching you ?  Is he being taught by you ?

We spent a few days in the mountains for some end-of-season skiing for Martin. LMB and I enjoyed lovely long walks. As the snow is melting, the Ibexes now come higher up. Some days we saw 6, 7 of these gorgeous animals with their enormous beautiful antlers, peacefully grazing and coming quite close to us. No fear, no aggression as if saying "we belong here."  Breagha somehow picked up their calm and very slow movements and quiet behaviour and just watched them. Amazing.

And then we returned home, where the first thing she did was shred a box of Kleenex tissues and this at the age of 5!  Of course, she got 'punished' - she had to help clean up the mess. Did she ever enjoy obeying Martin's command "give me that" ! A true working dog.
